Fenstür was established in 2013, with the goal of building a better wooden door and window than previously available to the local building industry.

Located on Vancouver Island, we are a family-owned-&-operated business dedicated to supporting local economies & sustainable development. Every Fenstür door and window is made on Vancouver Island, using local woods and materials whenever possible.

Our doors and windows represent over 150 years of combined forestry and engineering experience. We combine the best of traditional woodworking techniques with modern technologies sourced around the world. Our skilled team of craftsmen include civil engineers, foresters, finishing carpenters, and finishing specialists who search relentlessly for the best products, newest technologies, and modern trends to craft dependable, customizable, high performance products for your enjoyment.

Every door and window is built to order, meeting your projects specifications: size, wood species, finishes, glass type, and styles are all changed to suit you. We pride ourselves with selling a high value, quality product made to last a lifetime.

We enjoy challenging conventional standards to supply bigger, better, and personalized products to every customer and project. We have built many products with the claim of “biggest” “first” and “only” in not only British Columbia, but continent wide. We are currently the first and only manufacturer in North America with Passive House Certified wooden doors and windows.

Our Story

Wescon was established in 1985 in Duncan, BC, where its operations remain to this day.

Fenstür Windows and Doors, located on Vancouver Island, is a division of Wescon Cedar Products Ltd.

It has grown from a basement startup to a 55,000 ft2 manufacturing facility that employs over 40 skilled craftsmen producing over 20,000 doors and windows annually. Started in 2013, Fenstür builds on three decades of quality craftsmanship and integrates advanced technology with environmentally sustainable processes to deliver quality, energy efficient windows and doors to the North American market. We specialize in lift-and-slide doors, and tilt and turn windows. Fenstür is known for manufacturing products that are “ahead of our time”.
